Supreme Court has ruled a ban on Partial-Birth Abortions and I am so pleased!
I would write more, but Im in a hurry. Lots of articles, google it!
So I bought a prom dress today. NOPE, not goth. Haha.
It was an exciting expedition today. And we all (Kristen, Sarah, and I) went to Maymount and took pictures. I'll also post late.
Tomorrow after church I'm waterwater canoeing on the Rapp and then doing some cookout thing.
This hursday I leave for Florida. Next Tuesday I resume school again. I miss yearbook already thinking about it. Shotgun wedding, shotgun wedding.
NC or WV on Memorial Day weekend? And my effing pool opens! I could cry. I cant wait to see the babies. Seriously. I love && miss them more than anything.
URI = college!
.... if my dad will pay for it. Poo... I'm def not going to Defiance, Ohio... VCU or West Va Tech if dad is a cheap ass. Why is URI 40k a year? It's insane... We have money, but why the hell spend that much on effing college.
And just to touch lightly, the VA Tech thing is really depressing. It's so close. And I feel like it could have been me. Or my best friend. It's not like Colombine... states away, this is in my backyard. I saw one of my friends on tv! It's crazy. I cant believe my yearbook class prayed together Monday. Everything is so crazy right now.

Ever wonder how a 231 year old document is still readable, but last year’s chemistry notes are not? It is not the handwriting, it's the paper! The Declaration of Independence was written in 1776 and it is presumed by many historians that the only reason it survived this long is because of the hemp paper it was drafted on. Hemp, a product that thrived in the original colonies of the United States, is now a frowned-upon plant with laws making it nearly impossible to grow. If changes are made in laws today, we could still use industrial hemp as not only a good source of paper, but also as a convenient product good for the environment, economy, and people.
BORING!
So I feel I should start updating because writing a journal is supposed to boost brain work or something like that. I should be writing my Hemp, Hemp, Hooray paper instead though.
Everything has been insane in my life right now. I have been thinking a lot about Venture and BSA in general and I can’t decide whether I love it, or I hate it. Obviously my dislike for my own Venture Crew has been on the rise, but BSA in general---I have this love for. It’s supposed to be this positive environment for youth, and I honestly do believe it is. How many of those hardcore Boy Scouts do you know to become a monster? Ok lets not include my brother (he was in it in High School, but because my dad made him, not because he wanted to. AND he might be in jail for a while, but he definitely is far from a bad person.).
And I definitely have been thinking a lot about how I REALLY wish I could have been in Boy Scouts (as a girl) instead of Venture (with girls). ( Venture/BSA rant )
Blah, blah, and now for some non-BSA related info. I have officially been to all the colleges I applied to (URI, Defiance, WV Tech, and VCU). And now for the big decision… It’s between Tech and VCU, but I’m still VERRRY not sure what to do. My dad said he would buy land and build a house if I choose Tech in West Virginia, and I will be fairly close to home (a hour) if I choose VCU. At Tech I will do engineering/comp sci and at VCU I will do homeland security/emergency preparedness.
I don't really have time to type about it now, but I def will soon to get some sort of good imput. As for right now, I realllllly need to write my hemp paper!
EDIT: What I have been up to: No other way to explain other than photos. I will only post a few from each section because everyone knows… I have TOO MANY pictures to upload && post on dialup.
I went to DC Thursday. It was so gorgeous. Weather: 85 degrees!
     
I have been going to the hookah bar a lot, but no pictures of me… only Jon.
I went to a milk-drinking contest. It was basically awesome. I have LOTS of pictures, but I will only share a few.

I guess my life has been so crazy, so I’ll use that as my excuse for not updating this thing in forever. Last weekend I took my SAT’s and Aussie came and stayed with me. I also go very ill and have been for over a week. It’s getting better, but some days I feel like crap. I’m taking two new med’s, but I swear they are doing nothing.
This weekend I was supposed to go to a Halloween thing, but that didn't fall through. I guess it was no big deal because I stayed at home and kind of rested. But I really didn't rest, I stayed up very late actually. I don't know what I mean. Haha.
What I do know is ---- I’m going to RHODE ISLAND this week. I fly out Thursday, so I wont be at school Thursday or Friday. I fly back in Sunday evening. I hope this will be a good trip. I have never been there and I am staying with some people who apparently have a beautiful house. AND I get to meet with the Computer Forensics Director at URI. That’s pretty exciting.
Also I’m going to West Virginia either 3/4/5 or 10/11/12 to visit Wvtec. That’s pretty exciting too right. I don't know if I want to go the weekend of my birthday because I want to go to Peak Experience for that, but Wvtec would be ok that weekend too. I definitely want to go to a football game either week though. They just happen to be having home games both weekends!
And for the pictures... Yes, they have been collecting.
